Cons first: I’m 5’8 and even I set everything to the closest position I still feel the wheel a little far away. I use a CS universal hub and added a 5cm spacer between the hub and my steering wheel to bring it closer, easy fix on this one. Weak connection point between the front (wheel stand) and the seat with 2 bolts. During heavy braking you are literally pushing the front forward while pushing the seat backward, results in a lot of flex especially if you used a stiff mid to high end pedals. I did a little modification by bolting 2 L-bars between the stand and the seat on each side to eliminate the flex. Pedal plate also has a little bit of flex. No angle adjustment on the wheel plate/deck.
Pros: It comes with 2 shifter mounts. I have both install on each side so I can easily change shifter position from left to right depends on which car I want to drive, this adds to emersion. Easily convert in between flight and drive sim by getting the flight sim add on (cost extra $70). Seat is really comfortable I can sit there all day playing my regular games.
Bottom line: One of the best solution if you play both drive and flight/space sim. If drive sim is your only fancy then may be the F1GT is a better platform.
